classic pirate print now available in professional clogs

So what, exactly, is it about skulls & crossbones?

Apparently, with fashion, it's the ability to unpretentiously tease about what a badass you are. There's just something to be said about wearing a skull and crossbones emblem that allows you to be a self-proclaimed rebel of sorts. Consider the Sanita pirate print professional clog - it's definitely not all frills and bows. The pirate print is edgy and just a bit rough and tough for that swashbuckling style without going overboard!

The dominance of pirate and nautical inspired fashion keeps coming back again and again. Take for example Jean Paul Gaultier’s runway at Paris Fashion Week, where again the pirate look dominated the collection. The show featured an array of pirate couture with pinstripe fabrics and the models with wild, untamed manes, their locks appearing as though they were tousled up by an ocean breeze.

British model Lily Cole donned a pirate’s outfit for the Jean Paul Gaultier spring/summer 2008 collection.

Everyone has a little bit of that pirateer spirit in them and what's a more fun way to show it than with a pair of pirate print clogs? Clogs never go out of style & coordinate with everything. Wear them to work with a pair of scrubs for a hip-professional look or on your day off to complement your trendy-chic style. Wear the same pair of clogs and dress a look up or down depending on your choice of clothing. You're the captain mapping out your own course in fashion -it's all up to you.

graffiti makes its way to fashion...in clogs

If you're in one of the various avenues of the medical field & spend most of your day wearing institutional scrubs or a profession where a less than bland uniform is mandatory, you might be feeling short on style. And, if your idea of expressing yourself is not wearing patterned scrubs from head to toe, the Sanita 'Graffiti' clog is definitely the way to go. You look professional with just a hint of charachter & fun - not like you came to work for a pajama party!

Here's a little Graffiti 101;

"Graffiti is an element of every literate society. True, graffiti can express negative aspects of society such as hatred, racism, and harm to others ; however, keep in mind that graffiti also promotes ethnic unity, love, friendship, freedom from oppression, and diversity. Before forming a quick opinion the next time you see graffiti, take time to analyze the markings to reveal its value to someone other than yourself."

So, if you're into adding a little flair to your professional look give Sanita clogs a try.
After all, the Sanita company has been making Danish style clogs for over 100 years and they're still going strong. Keep this company in mind the next time you need a new pair of work clogs. With grafitti being the latest print, who knows what they'll come up with next? One thing I know for sure, I'm definitely going to stick around and find out!

Sanita professional clogs make perfect sense for everyone from medical and restaurant workers to school and airline staff to just about anyone who's on their feet all day. They're slip resistant, stylish and podiatrically correct at-work comfort clogs!

a recent fashion article recognizes the sexy sophistication of animal print

This Season’s Trend in Leopard, Zebra
& Pony Print Accessories © Gill Hart

Never straying too far from the fashion radar, leopard, cheetah, zebra and tiger prints are ultra big this season. Along with florals, animal prints have become less of a classic women's fashion staple and more mainstream, transcending from season to season. This season though it is not just about clothing. Whilst leopard print tops, skirts, swimsuits and dresses have always been a firm favorite with the fashion world, shoe and handbag designers have experienced the call of the wild. Bags, shoes, hats, scarves and belts are covered in the leopard, zebra and pony hair prints from this season. Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin all include animal prints in their recent shoe collections and Prada, Valentino, Tod's and Dolce and Gabbana offer some great purses.

Pony Prints

A new kid on the block is the zebra print, and pony hair featured in shoes and bags. Prada, Marc Jacobs, Valentino and Jimmy Choo have pounced on the trend.

Animal Print

Shoes from boots to courts and flats to wedges, there is no escaping the jungle influence. The benefit of animal print shoes is that they are almost like black shoes completely timeless, they match basically everything, and add a subdued elegance with a trendy hint. Christian Louboutin’s Rolando Leopard Print Shoes are a classic example of how stylist animal prints can
be. Not to mention Louboutin’s “Peanuts” animal wedges, fun and funky. Black and white zebra and pony prints give a new twist to the classic (and often saturated) leopard, these shoes are stylish and trendy.
